50 Years of Phantom Pride: Celebrating Our Phoebus Phamily

We are excited to celebrate fifty years of Phoebus High School. Named after the Phoebus neighborhood, the high school opened its doors in 1975. Phoebus High School’s football program is legendary, securing multiple state championships, including four-peats. With a strong commitment to academics, athletics, and community, Phoebus High School continues to uphold its legacy of excellence.

We will be honoring “50 Years of Phantom Pride: Celebrating Our Phoebus Phamily”. We are bringing together past and present alumni, faculty, and community supporters for a once-in-a-lifetime Phoebus Phamily Mega Reunion to be held in various locations in Hampton, VA on September 26-28, 2025. 

The Phoebus Phamily Mega Reunion Planning Committee has combined their time, talents and resources to create a weekend of activities that will create unforgettable memories for all those who attend. 

The purchase of a ticket will provide access to the following events over the three days of September 26-28, 2025:

• Friday, 6PM-10PM- Sneaker Jam Meet and Greet at Boo Williams Sports Complex
• Saturday, 11AM-1PM – Tour of Phoebus High School
• Saturday, 6PM-Midnight – The Gala at the Hampton Roads Convention Center
• Sunday, Noon-5PM – Community Day Party at Mill Point Park

There will be no sales of tickets to the individual events.  The various ticket packages available grant access to all the events for one price.

HOTEL ROOMS

Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Hotel & Convention Center is the host hotel for the Phoebus Phamily Mega Reunion.

There are 30 guest suites blocked, 15 single king bed rooms and 15 double queen bed rooms reserved with a special nightly rate of $149.

Phoebus High School Alumni Association

Mission Statement

The Phoebus High School Alumni Association (PHSAA) is a non-profit organization established in 2013 to implement and cultivate activities that promote unity, fellowship and comradery among all alumni of Phoebus High School.

Vision Statement

Through community collectives and the spirit of goodwill, the Phoebus High School Alumni Association aims to provide leadership, knowledge and philanthropic support to foster advancements in education, civic engagement and professional development for all students and families associated with Phoebus High School.

Membership Dues

Lifetime: $300 may be paid in one lump sum or in increments. If paid in increments, the full amount must be paid in full by December31st of the same year that the first payment was made. Lifetime Membership includes recognition and voting rights at all PHSAA meetings for a lifetime.

Annual: $30 per year which includes recognition and voting rights at all PHSAA meetings for that membership year. The membership year is from January 1st – December 31st.
