This Privacy Policy explains how EventPassHero LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, platform, and services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: name, email, phone, billing and payment information, event and order details, marketing preferences, and any content you submit. Payment card details are processed by our PCI-compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from organizers and partners: when you purchase a ticket, the event organizer provides information about your order, and we act as a service provider to that organizer.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to: provide and improve the Services; process transactions and deliver tickets; provide customer support; communicate with you, including transactional and, where permitted, marketing messages; personalize content; prevent fraud and enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering (AML) and tax requirements.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Consent

Where you provide your mobile number and consent, we or organizers may send transactional or promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information with: the event organizer for your order; service providers and processors (payment, hosting, email, analytics, fraud prevention) under contract; affiliates; and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Event organizers and their authorized affiliates may receive attendee information for events you register for; their use of that information is governed by their own policies, over which we have limited control. We will never make your financial information available to event affiliates or third-party marketers except in connection with a particular event or transaction. We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, purchase tracking, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function without certain cookies. Where required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of “sale” or “sharing.”

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access the personal information we hold about you; receive a portable copy; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; and opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@eventpasshero.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Some information may be retained where required by law (for example, AML and tax recordkeeping).

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent our use of advertising cookies constitutes “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA, you may opt out via our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or by emailing privacy@eventpasshero.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit requests. We provide the categories of information collected (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, and geolocation) and honor non-discrimination requirements.

8. EU/UK Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where an organizer determines the purposes of processing attendee data, the organizer is the controller and we act as processor.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, including AML and tax obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

10. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and reputable third-party data centers, to protect personal information. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Breach Notification

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law and without undue delay, and describe the steps we are taking in response.

12. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and personal information is processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Tickets for events of interest to minors must be purchased by an adult parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@eventpasshero.com and we will delete it.

14. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them; review their privacy policies.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
