Turn buyers into promoters
Quick question. You're spending time and money on ads, but your single best marketing channel is sitting right in your ticket list, completely unused.
Your attendees. Because when someone hears about your event from a friend, that carries a kind of weight no ad can buy: trust. Strategy Seven is about turning every ticket buyer into someone who spreads the word for you.
First, make sharing effortless. Design eye-catching graphics, a short teaser video, a countdown post, and hand people sample captions they can literally copy and paste. The easier you make it, the more they'll actually do it.
Second, give them a reason. Set up a referral program: every ticket buyer gets a unique link, and for every ticket sold through it, they earn something, a discount on their next ticket, entry into a prize drawing, even a little cash. Just like that, your attendees become motivated salespeople.
Third, lean on groups. "Buy three tickets, get one free. "Bring five people and get VIP seating. People have more fun in groups, and a group is louder about telling everyone how great the night was.
And fourth, engage them before the event even happens. Send sneak peeks. Share behind-the-scenes prep. Build the excitement so high they can't help but talk about it. The more hyped they are, the more they hype everyone around them.
Strategy Seven: word-of-mouth costs you almost nothing and can double or triple your reach. All it takes is a little structure and a nudge in the right direction.
