Buy Now, Pay Later: Split Your Ticket Purchase into Installments
Big table for the gala? Tickets for the whole family? On events where the organizer has enabled Buy Now, Pay Later, checkout offers Affirm, Klarna, and Cash App Afterpay alongside regular cards. You split the cost into installments — and it never costs extra on EventPassHero: your order total is exactly the same as paying by card.
How it works
- 1. Add your tickets and go through checkout as usual (see How to buy tickets).
- 2. In the Payment step, choose Affirm, Klarna, or Cash App Afterpay instead of Card. The options appear automatically when the event offers them and your order total is within the provider's range.
- 3. The provider walks you through a quick approval and shows your exact plan terms — how many payments, how much, and when — before you commit.
- 4. Complete the plan and you're done: your tickets are issued instantly, exactly as if you'd paid in full.
Does it cost me more?
No. Your total on EventPassHero is identical to paying by card. Any interest or plan terms come from the BNPL provider and are shown to you clearly before you confirm — many plans, like typical pay-in-4 offerings, are interest-free when payments are on time.
Why don't I see BNPL options at my checkout?
- The organizer hasn't enabled Buy Now, Pay Later for this event — it's optional and per-event.
- Your order total is outside the provider's eligible range (each provider sets its own minimum and maximum).
- The provider declined the plan — you can always fall back to card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash App Pay.
What about refunds on BNPL orders?
If the organizer approves a refund, it's processed back through your BNPL provider. The provider cancels or adjusts your installment plan and returns anything you've already paid — typically within 5–7 business days, on the provider's timeline. See How to request a refund.
